Jellystone Parks Partners with Crossroads RV

TOPEKA, IN--- Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts has joined a partnership with CrossRoads to design and build park models specifically for their franchised campgrounds.  “Jellystone Parks are instantly recognized by most families and the brand has been synonymous with the outdoor lifestyle.  We are excited to provide purpose-built, rental cabins to their resorts,” said Mark Lucas President of CrossRoads RV.

On a Tuesday earlier this month, Frank Solis, a 28-year-old construction worker from Riverside, found himself unexpectedly without work.

He had been busy building some of the chain fitness centers that popped up all over the Inland area in the last couple years, but things have slowed down lately, he said with a shrug.

 
Yellowstone Park host tourism record in 2009

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wy. -- Yellowstone National Park hosted a record number of visitors in 2009. Nearly 3.3 million people visited the world’s first national park last year, up 7.5 percent from 2008 and up 4.6 percent from the previous record of 3.15 million visitors set in 2007.

Arizona cities offer help to state parks facing closure

PHOENIX -- After the Governor Jan Brewer signed a bill that slashed nearly $9 million from the Arizona state park system, many parks in the state seemed destined to close. However, several Arizona cities and towns are offering to help protect what they say are invaluable tourist destinations.

 
California Carnegie state park to remain open

TRACY, Calif. -- While awaiting a decision from a California apellate court, Carnegie State Park will remain open to people using off-road vehicles, according to an article appearing in the Oakland Tribune.
