I am amazed at the traffic flow I have been seeing at the dealership I work for. This last weekend was I ray of sunshine for our dealership and Industry in general.
You see, usually we have more salesmen then customers but, this weekend that just passed, it was the other way around. There were so many customers the managers had to help out. The consumer confidence was up and it was showing. The one thing about the RV industry is that people still want to spend time with their families. We can all sit at home and watch the world melt around us or we can get living. Another positive thing I saw was, our guest we also looking for the best deal even on manufacture products that are not in business any more. Maybe they knew about the outrageous deals going on or could it be that our sales tax and registration goes up April first, it may just in fact be that they got their tax return and were going to use it as a down payment. Whatever it is, all I know it is a good sign for our economy. |
